Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Project Manager II to support planning, execution, and delivery of transmission capital projects. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, environmental, regulatory, real estate, and external contractors to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of transmission line and substation projects.

Responsibilities

Manage transmission capital projects from authorization through construction and closeout.
Develop and maintain scope, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans.
Lead project teams comprised of Subject Matter Experts from various business units.
Coordinate project activities across many stakeholders including engineering, environmental, permitting, land services, construction, and outage planning teams.
Lead project team meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Monitor project performance and drive resolution of scope, schedule, cost, and resource challenges.
Support development of project estimates, business cases, and funding requests.
Coordinate contractor and consultant activities throughout project execution.
Ensure compliance with company safety requirements, engineering standards, environmental regulations, and regulatory commitments.
Support transmission outage planning and coordination to minimize operational impacts during project execution.
Identify/manage project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
Review and approve project documentation, change requests, and contractor deliverables.
Facilitate project closeout activities, including turnover to operations and lessons learned documentation.
