Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a Transmission Project Engineer to help launch a new Nebraska office in Columbus, NE. Responsibilities include conceptual to final design of transmission lines, alongside material procurement and construction support through energization.

You will produce scope documents, PLS-CADD models, and detailed drawings with an emphasis on quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate has a 6+ year track record, a Civil Engineering degree, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering with 6+ years’ design experience.
• PE license preferred and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary, and final design of transmission lines.
• Material procurement and construction support through energization.
• Create project scope documents and design calculations.
• PLS-CADD modeling and structural/foundation design.
• Prepare staking sheets, sag charts, and construction exhibits.
• Develop specifications and technical drawings; mentor staff.
