Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking a transmission project manager to help start and grow a new office in Nebraska.

The role involves leading design of transmission lines, procurement support, and project delivery for utilities and developers across the U.S. You will oversee a project team of engineers, designers and staff, coordinate with substation and transmission groups, ensure quality control, manage scope, schedule and budget, and interact with clients to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years' project engineering experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organization and planning.
• PE license and PMP certification preferred.
• Willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and finalize transmission line projects from concept to detail.
• Procure materials and support construction through energization.
• Scoping, budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring and reporting.
• Oversee project teams of engineers, designers, drafters and support staff.
• Coordinate with discipline groups to ensure successful project delivery and provide mentorship.
