Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program or equivalent.
• Two+ years of relevant electric transmission or distribution experience.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 applications.
• Predictable and reliable work schedule.
• Compliance with BWL policies and work rules.
• Ability to respond to emergent events within the service territory.
• Ability to work in remote and open-office environments.
• Michigan driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and event analysis of protection systems using one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Develop settings including short circuit and coordination studies.
• Support NERC compliance as a subject matter expert.
• Plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain electric transmission and distribution systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Asset Management and Work Management processes.
