Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to obtain NERC certification within one year.
• Two years of utility experience with emphasis on power system operation; or one year with NERC certification.
• NERC TO/BT/RC certification required for advancement to II.

Responsibilities

• Operate VEA and VETA transmission systems as a NERC-certified operator to ensure reliability.
• Manage day-to-day operations and coordinate with contractors per contracts.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and CAISO requirements.
