Job summary

The Davis H. Elliot Company is seeking skilled personnel for transmission line projects. As a Transmission Lineman, Operator, or Groundman, you will support installation, construction, maintenance, and repair efforts.

Positions operate from Cloverdale, VA with work across Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia. Candidate must have a valid Class A CDL or obtain it within 6 months, bring hand tools, be willing to travel, and pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license or license recommended (required within 6 months).
• Own your own hand tools and be willing to travel.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of Transmission Lines/Projects.
• Work out of Cloverdale, VA with opportunities in VA, NC and WV.

Job Description

As a Transmission Lineman, Operator or Groundman, you will be assisting in the installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of Transmission Lines/Projects. These positions are managed out of Cloverdale, VA with work in multiple locations and opportunities throughout Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license and medical card recommended (required within 6mos)
• Own your own hand tools
• Willing to travel
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
