Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to install, construct, maintain, and repair overhead electric distribution lines.

This role is based in Cloverdale, VA, with duties across Virginia and surrounding areas, offering steady fieldwork and opportunities to advance within a respected contractor. The ideal candidate has a Class A CDL, clean driving record, and strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience required.
• 4+ years of experience recommended.
• Valid Class A CDL license and medical card recommended.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Own your own hand tools.
• Advanced understanding of electrical distribution systems.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Job Description

As a Journeyman Lineman / Lineman A you will be performing the installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead electric distribution lines. This position is managed out of Cloverdale, VA with work in multiple locations and opportunities throughout Virginia.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license and medical card recommended
• 3 years of experience required
• 4+ years of experience recommended
• Valid driver's license required

• Advanced understanding of electrical distribution systems
