Our client, a leading engineering and EPC services firm supporting utility clients across North America is hiring a Project Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams on high-voltage transmission line projects. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from any of 30+ offices across the U.S., with three in-office days per week.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead design teams across civil, structural, and electrical disciplines for transmission projects
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and design quality throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee client coordination, design reviews, and internal resource planning
• Support business development through technical input on proposals and estimating
• Ensure compliance with internal QA/QC standards and utility client requirements
• Provide mentorship and leadership to engineering staff
• Travel occasionally for site walks, design reviews, and client meetings

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in overhead transmission line design
• Strong knowledge of PLS-CADD, structure loading, routing, and foundation design
• Experience managing cross-discipline teams and working directly with utility clients
• Familiarity with EPC processes and interdisciplinary coordination (permitting, procurement, etc.)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
• Experience working for a design consultancy or serving in a lead engineer role is a major plus
