Job summary

The Lower Colorado River Authority in Austin, TX is seeking a Line Inspector to help maintain the reliability of our transmission power systems. You will inspect lines and ROW, respond to outages, and conduct scheduled patrols across our Central region to ensure safe, continuous service.

Three or more years in transmission line maintenance or related fields and a valid driver’s license are required; certifications in electrical systems are a plus and collaboration within a team is essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in maintenance, operation or construction of transmission line equipment and facilities.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect transmission lines and ROW for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Respond promptly to outages and help restore service.
• Perform routine upkeep on transmission line equipment and ROW facilities.
• Follow maintenance schedules and work collaboratively on improvements.
