Job summary

Lower Colorado River Authority in Austin, Texas seeks a Line Inspector to maintain reliability of transmission power systems. You will inspect lines, respond to outages, and perform scheduled patrols across our Central region, contributing to an outstanding environment and the organization's safety and service commitments.

Based in Austin, you will ensure safety standards compliance, coordinate with a team, and uphold maintenance schedules to keep lines and ROW facilities in peak condition.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in the maintenance, operation or construction of transmission line equipment and facilities.
• Driver's license is required.

• Respond promptly to outages, identify cause, and implement restoration solutions.

• Respond promptly to outages, resolving cause and implementing solutions to restore service.
• Carry out routine minor upkeep on transmission line electrical equipment and ROW facilities.
• Strictly adhere to maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure magnificent operation of transmission systems.
• Collaborate with team members to successfully complete maintenance strategies and improvements.

How You’re Qualified

• Three or more years of experience in the maintenance, operation or construction of transmission line equipment and facilities or relevant experience.
• Driver's license
