Job summary

Georgia Power Company is seeking an Inspector - Transmission Line Construction to plan, inspect, and monitor activities performed by contract crews on statewide transmission projects.

You will audit timesheets, perform QVA assessments, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards while coordinating with Field Managers, Design, and Operations teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 7 years of Transmission Line Construction experience.
• Project oversight experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor transmission line construction activities by contract personnel.
• Audit timesheets and ensure billable time accuracy.
• Perform Quality Value Assessments (QVA) and ensure adherence to contracts.
• Coordinate with managers and design teams to meet schedules and budgets.
• Travel statewide and be available for after-hours and weekend work.
