Job summary

AEP is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer in Ohio to plan and scope T-Line projects, communicate with stakeholders, and evaluate geotechnical reports. Responsibilities include structure type selection, foundation design, wire tension and clearance checks, and PLS-CADD modeling.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accredited) with 2+ years of related experience; Master’s degree may qualify for entry. ABET accreditation emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET accredited) is required; Master’s degree may be considered for entry level.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology may satisfy if PE license obtained.
• ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET is referenced in the posting.
