Job summary

United Grid Solutions is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to design and oversee transmission projects, including renewable interconnections. You will provide technical direction, develop cost estimates, and support proposal efforts while collaborating with internal teams and clients.

The role requires 1–3 years of electrical utility experience, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and strong communication skills. EIT/PE is preferred, with room to grow into project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required (ABET-accredited).
• 1–3 years of electrical utility transmission line design experience.
• Pursuit or attainment of EIT/PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering/technical guidance for transmission line projects.
• Plan, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and drawings; maintain documentation.
