Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking a Transmission Line Design Engineer to join our Woods Cross, UT team.

You will perform conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of transmission lines, including material procurement and construction support through energization. The successful candidate will work under a Project Engineer to develop design calculations, create drawings and specs, and coordinate with designers and drafters.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering required; design experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work in a team.
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and meeting fast-paced schedules.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary, and final design of transmission lines.
• Procurement support and construction oversight through energization.
• Develop design calculations, drawings and specifications, and staking sheets.
• Coordinate with project engineers, designers and staff to ensure quality.
