Job Description

We have an opening for a Transmission Line Design Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Job Details:

• Independently performs physical design of transmission lines (structural design experience preferred).
• Creates drawings, specifications, and contract documents for construction, fabrication, and bids.
• Conducts research, engineering studies, evaluates and approves materials, and develops design standards.
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard and unique design techniques, procedures, and criteria for complex projects.
• Represents Transmission Line Design within the corporate team, leads development and modification of standards.
• Coordinates training of new design associates.
• Conducts design reviews of complex projects.
• Provides technical consultation and support within the department and to external entities as required.
• May represent the company in legal proceedings regarding engineering standards.
• Conducts engineering studies and evaluates materials, taking action on findings.
• Assists in setting goals, budget requirements, and process improvements.

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000

Location: Atlanta, GA
