As a result of our commitment to product excellence, our Corporate Engineering Team is expanding. We are searching for a Design Engineering Manager. This is a senior-level technical position reporting to the Director of Engineering.

We are looking for high-performing individuals—can-do people with proven success in supporting manufacturing operations and adding value to OEM customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the team to migrate 3D CAD to Creo and implement a central, corporate PLM system (PTC Windchill).
2. Supervise the maintenance and implement approval workflows for the corporate PLM system.
3. Create and implement corporate standards for CAD modeling and drawings (ASME Y14.5 GD&T experience).
4. Train and develop the engineering team to utilize the tools (ISO 9001 – QMS experience).

Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Successful leadership of high-performing design engineering teams.
• High proficiency in CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks), with familiarity with FEA software (Creo Simulate, SolidWorks Simulation) and other virtual validation tools.
• Experience leading and developing remote technical teams.
• Excellence in technical communication, both written and verbal, via remote technology.

This role is fully remote. Travel to customer, vendor, and manufacturing locations will be required, potentially including international travel (US/Mexico/Canada), typically 25%, up to 50% for specific projects.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of total experience in Product Design, including at least 3 years in leadership roles.
• Experience applying Six Sigma methodology (Black Belt) to Design for Manufacturing.
