Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a 2G3-Transmission Groundperson for full-time, non-exempt work in the field. Pay is listed as competitive hourly. The role involves clearing job sites, assisting with structure/cable installation, and operating a range of hand tools while coordinating with linepersons and apprentices.

The position requires CDL, a minimum age of 18, and willingness to travel as needed for storm or emergency work; pre-employment screens apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• CDL Driver License Required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavates to assist in installation of structures or cable as required by contract specification.
• Assembles material on the ground to be installed by the lineperson or apprentice.
• Exposed to traffic and may be required to have training on traffic flagging
• Operates various tools for the work (manual digging devices, wrenches, hammers, come a long, jack hammer and hand line etc.).
• Will have contact with public and private property owners to communicate work to be performed.
• All other duties as requested by Supervisors.
