Job summary
Yoh Services LLC seeks a Transmission Engineer specializing in Transmission & Distribution to design and deliver high‑voltage transmission projects underground and overhead. You will work through all phases from conception to construction in the Minneapolis–Duluth region, ensuring reliable, efficient, and innovative power delivery.
Responsibilities include applying civil/structural engineering standards, coordinating with design teams, and preparing specifications and reports.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in transmission engineering; 5+ years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of civil/structural techniques, codes (NESC, NERC, FERC).
- Proficiency with CAD and PLS-CADD for design work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinking with experience in reports and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high‑voltage transmission projects (underground and overhead).
- Work through all phases from conception to construction for power delivery projects.
- Prepare specifications, technical bid summaries, and reports.
