Job summary

A leading engineering company based in Minneapolis is seeking a Transmission Engineer to support Transmission and Distribution projects. The candidate will perform engineering analysis, prepare construction packages, and ensure compliance with applicable standards. The ideal applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, relevant experience, and EIT certification. The position offers a salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and a retirement savings plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Familiarity with high-voltage transmission projects (69–500 kV) is a plus.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design for overhead transmission lines.
• Prepare construction packages including plans and engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
