Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Power EIT in Minnesota to conduct analyses, prepare deliverables, and support design work across power systems projects.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers and BIM specialists, performing routine engineering tasks and progressing on larger initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering, an EIT certificate, and is proficient in Microsoft Office, with a commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture and collaborative work style.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (e.g., drawings, cost estimates, specifications).
  • Perform routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures.
  • Complete projects with defined objectives and limited variables.
  • Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, other EITs, Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

In the role of Power EIT, we’ll count on you to:
