Job summary

HDR, a leading employee-owned firm, invites applications for a Power EIT position in Minnesota, Saint Louis Park. You will conduct analyses to develop power-related design options and support project deliverables.

You will work with Project Engineers and BIM Specialists on electrical transmission and distribution projects, applying standard techniques to meet clear objectives while growing your engineering skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (examples include engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, and project specifications)
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers / professionals on larger projects
• Work with assistance from Project Engineers, other Engineers In-Training (EITs), Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed
• Perform other duties as needed
