Job summary

Inoptra Digital in the United States seeks a design engineer to design overhead transmission lines, preferably 345 kV and above. You will apply PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software to develop loading, framing, and assembly drawings. You will work with MFAD/L-Pile for foundation design and ensure compliance with NESC, RUS Bulletin 1724E-200, CA-PUC GO95, and ACSE standards while collaborating with a team and communicating effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software is mandatory.
• Foundation design experience using MFAD and/or L-Pile.

Responsibilities

• Requirement designing overhead transmission lines, preferably 345 kV and above.
• Develop loading drawings, framing drawings, assembly drawings, plan and profile drawings.
• Work with industry codes and standards such as NESC, RUS Bulletin 1724E-200, CA-PUC GO95, and ACSE 10, 48, 74, 91, 104, 123, 141.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate clearly.

Job description

Role and responsibilities:

• Requirement Designing overhead transmission lines, preferable to voltages of at least 345 kV.
• \"PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE Software Experience is mandatory.

CAISSON and PLS-TOWER are optional.\"

• Foundation Design Experience utilizing MFAD and/or L-Pile software.
• Guy anchor design, Tubular steel pole and lattice tower design experience.
• \"Detailed drilled pier foundation design, soil anchor design utilizing helical piles

and or grouted anchors.\"

• Develop loading drawings, framing drawings, assembly drawings, plan and profile drawings, etc.
• Good knowledge about industry codes and recommendations such asNESC, RUS Bulletin 1724E-200, CA-PUC GO95, and ACSE 10, 48, 74, 91, 104, 123 and 141.
• Additional Effective verbal and written communication skills, Working with American codes and standards
• Excellent level of interpersonal skills
• Ability to work individually and on a team
