Job summary

Ameren Corporation is seeking a Manager Transmission Construction to lead a team of employees and consultants in planning, organizing and executing transmission construction projects. The role emphasizes safety, timely execution, and adherence to budget and specifications.

The position requires 7+ years of project construction experience and 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience, with PE and PMP preferred. Travel and 24/7 availability may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer license (P.E.) in Missouri and/or Illinois preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Seven+ years of project construction experience.
• Five+ years of supervisory or high‑level leadership experience.
• Transmission line or substation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of safety with zero unsafe acts and champion safety efforts.
• Monitor development of direct reports and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, develop and execute transmission construction projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Drive construction efficiency and quality by adopting emerging tech and industry best practices.
• Develop policies, practices, and procedures for the department in response to business needs.
