Job summary

Sunflower, a generation and transmission utility serving central and western Kansas, is looking to add a Transmission Construction Management Coordinator to our team in Great Bend, KS, Hays, KS, or Garden City, KS. This person will coordinate and manage the construction of transmission lines, substations, and joint projects to ensure alignment with engineering standards and safe work practices.

Regular travel across the Sunflower system will make you the main contact on projects, with time split

Qualifications

• Coordinate and manage construction of transmission lines, substations, and joint projects.
• Plan outages, schedule work, and allocate resources.
• Oversee cost estimating, material tracking, and progress reporting.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly across the Sunflower system as main point of contact on construction projects.
• Split time between in-office and field work.
• Ensure alignment with engineering standards and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal departments to plan outages and allocate resources.
