Atlas Field Services is seeking a Transmission Utility Arborists / Consulting Utility Forester in Port Saint Lucie, FL. You will identify tree health issues, inspect power-line clearances, and verify contractor work while coordinating with clients and landowners in various environments.

The role requires ISA Arborist certification, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors, often alone. CTSP is a plus, and experience with maps and GPS is valued.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist Designation required.
• CTSP is a plus.

Mansioni

• Accurately identify dead and dying trees affected by drought and other environmental conditions.
• Inspect overhead power lines for vegetation clearance.
• Perform inspection and work verification on post pre-inspection and post tree-trimming work.
• Document information for clients vegetation management program.
• Inspect and assess trees for hazard or danger potential.
• Audit tree contractor's work for compliance with client specifications.
• Assist in storm and emergency situations and other line clearance projects.
• Communicate daily with the client, contractors, landowners, and public.
• Perform duties to maintain good public relations.
• Research easement and land rights for rights and restrictions.
• Meet with landowners to explain vegetation management work.
• Mark work in the field where required.
• Respond to public concerns and questions about the work.
• Assist in the development of public relations materials.
• Respond to contractor questions concerning work specification and requirements.
• Inspect work completed by contractors for compliance to utility specifications.
• Assist in the management of contractors during storm restoration operations.
• Provide support and assistance on special projects as assigned by the utility.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned
