Job summary

Savage is hiring a Transload Operator in Price, UT. You will safely transload various materials including hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquids and dry bulk products, operate a locomotive and rail switch operations, and run trans-loading equipment and mobile vehicles.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, ability to troubleshoot, and willingness to travel to other Savage sites. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Rail switching/locomotive experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment (hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic).
• Strong mechanical skills and safety awareness.
• Must follow written or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to other Savage sites as needed.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Safely transload various materials including hazardous and non-hazardous bulk liquids and dry bulk products.
• Operate a locomotive and perform rail switch operations.
• Operate trans-loading equipment and portable systems.
• Operate mobile equipment such as side by side, pickups, and utility vehicles.
• Collaborate with team members and customers.
• Participate in hazardous materials handling and safety training; may travel briefly.
• Assist with general maintenance and site cleanup.
