Job summary

Savage Morenci, AZ is hiring a Transload Operator to safely unload sulfur railcars, spot railcars, and assist in general plant maintenance at our Morenci operation. This role features rotating 12-hour shifts from 5 AM to 5 PM with weekends and holidays and overtime after 40 hours.

You will work with a team that prioritizes safety and offers strong benefits. A High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required to apply.

• MSHA experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Unload sulfur railcars safely and efficiently.
• Spot sulfur railcars as needed.
• Assist with general plant and equipment maintenance and cleanup.

The Basics

• Compensation: $26.00 Overtime after 40
• Days/Hours: Rotating 5AM to 5M 12 hours - weekends and holidays
• Equipment Used: Railcars

The responsibility of our Transload Operators is to safely and efficiently manage the unloading of incoming sulfur railcars, spot the sulfur railcars, and assist in the general maintenance and cleanup of the plant and equipment at our Morenci, AZ operation.

Here Is What We Need From You

• MSHA experience and exposure a plus, but not required
• Valid DL
• High School Diploma/GED

Here Are Some Of The Physical Requirements

• Work outdoors year-round in all conditions, able to walk several miles per day, able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance, able to climb/stoop/crawl
• Work on elevated surfaces
• Work in all types of weather conditions
• Pass respirator fit test
