Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Research Fellow for a full-time, temporary appointment (not to exceed five years) to conduct advanced translational research projects under the direction of the principal investigator.

The role involves designing and implementing research plans, data collection and analysis, and documenting findings in concise reports; candidates should be capable of presenting at conferences and assisting with grant proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high fidelity experimentation in line with the objectives of the research program.
• Collect and analyze data from the literature and ongoing experimentation to support hypotheses.
• Participate in writing research publications, presentations, and grant proposals.
• Aid the investigator in managing research staff and maintaining research facilities on an as-needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned, including representing the lead investigator at scientific conferences and meetings.
