Qualifications

• Appointee to Junior Specialist: bachelor’s degree in a related science or 4 years of research experience.
• Appointee to Assistant Specialist: master’s degree or a bachelor’s with 3+ years of research/lab experience.
• Minimum one year of relevant work after degree using required techniques.
• Experience working with human biological samples.
• Experience with mouse embryology and vertebrate models.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Work with mouse models of neuroinflammatory and autoimmune diseases; conduct procedures and analyses.
• Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques and cell isolation.
• Utilize flow cytometry and advanced cell-engineering approaches.
• Coordinate specimen collection and processing across sites under regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in experimental design, manuscript preparation, and grant-related activities.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to data interpretation and reporting.
