Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of research experience required.
• Master's degree or 3+ years of research/lab experience for Assistant Specialist.
• Conceptual understanding of basic immunology.
• Demonstrated interest in scientific research and ability to engage with literature.
• Ability to perform detailed laboratory work with accuracy and reproducibility.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• CV must state qualifications or indicate if pending.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement studies on T-cell responses and immune mechanisms.
• Collect and process prospective patient biospecimens with clinical staff.
• Perform cell culture, antigen-specific T-cell assays, and multicolor flow cytometry.
• Work on mouse immunology experiments for tissue collection and immune assessment.
• Analyze data and contribute to experimental design, troubleshooting, and follow-up work.
• Maintain accurate records and biospecimen inventories; ensure rigor and reproducibility.
• Review literature in MOGAD, MS, T-cell biology to guide experiments.
• Present progress at lab meetings and contribute to abstracts, posters, and talks.
• Contribute to manuscripts with data analysis, figures, and literature reviews.
