Mass General Brigham invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center, Massachusetts General Hospital. The role focuses on translational research to develop novel therapies for type 1 diabetes, emphasizing gene and cell therapies, immunomodulation, and transplant biology.

The fellow will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, conduct experiments in established mouse models, analyze data, and partner with external academic and industry groups

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related field required.
• Strong publication record and demonstrated ability to write funded proposals.
• Understanding of gene delivery systems, transplant tolerance and transplant biology.
• Passionate, curious, and motivated to advance therapies from preclinical to clinical stages.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and conduct experiments in immunomodulatory and cell-gene therapies for type I diabetes.
• Work with mouse models to study disease and therapeutic mechanisms.
• Analyze data and collaborate with external academic and industry partners.
• Document research plans, execution, and results meticulously.
• Prepare findings for publication and proposal funding.
