Job summary
The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) seeks an experienced Scientist / Lead, Translational Data Platforms for the MMRF Virtual Lab—a cloud-native translational research platform accelerating discoveries in myeloma.
You will balance cutting-edge computational biology with product leadership, shaping the platform's future and collaborating with scientists, engineers, clinicians, and partners globally.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Cancer Genomics, CS, Biomedical Informatics, or related quantitative discipline.
- Proven experience applying computational approaches to biological or clinical research.
- Experience analyzing large-scale genomic cancer datasets including tumor expression and DNA abnormalities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as scientific product owner for the MMRF Virtual Lab.
- Define and maintain the platform product roadmap with leadership.
- Translate scientific priorities into technical requirements and specs.
- Coordinate feature planning, testing, and release management.
- Drive long-term evolution of the platform with stakeholders.
- Collaborate across scientific, engineering, and external partners.
