Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Translational Bioscience SETA to provide onsite scientific, technical, and program management support for advanced R&D programs spanning biotechnology and related biomedical sciences in Arlington, VA.

You will work closely with a DARPA Program Manager to translate concepts into executable research programs and help accelerate technologies toward clinical or operational use.

Qualifications

• MD or PharmD with substantial research and development experience.
• 16+ years of experience and advanced training in biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, translational medicine, or a related discipline.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Able to report to Arlington, VA full-time based upon client needs.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambitious scientific concepts into executable research programs, and evaluate technical progress.
• Identify scientific and programmatic risk, coordinate performers and government stakeholders.
• Accelerate promising technologies toward operational or clinical use.
