Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Sr. Translational Pharmacology and Drug Development SETA to provide onsite scientific and program management support in Arlington, VA.

You will work with DARPA and a multidisciplinary team to evaluate progress, manage risks, and advance translational drug development. The role requires a Doctorate in pharmacology or related field, 9+ years of experience, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in pharmacology and closely related discipline.
• 9+ years of relevant work experience.
• Expertise in translational pharmacology and therapeutic development.
• Experience with preclinical efficacy and safety studies, in vitro and in vivo.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific, technical, and program management support to DARPA program managers.
• Evaluate progress, coordinate performers and stakeholders, and accelerate promising technologies toward clinical and operational use.
• Assess research involving small-molecule screening, medicinal chemistry, and pharmacology optimization.
• Review experimental plans, study designs, data packages, and reports for scientific rigor and relevance to program goals.
