Job summary

Comprehensive Youth Services, Inc. is hiring Transitional Living Specialists for the Family Youth Interventions-Transitional Living Program (FYITLP) in Michigan. You will mentor young adults, help with schedules and transportation, and support personal growth in a structured residential setting.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule, weekend and holiday rotation, and eligibility for PTO, retirement plan, and EAP benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks for criminal and child abuse/neglect must be passed.
• Negative TB test and three professional references.

Responsibilities

• Mentor residents in daily living skills and personal planning.
• Assist with schedules, transportation, and personal growth.
• Help implement the TLP curriculum and guidelines.
• Ensure safety and compliance with health and fire regulations.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with community partners.

Job Summary

Family Youth Interventions-Transitional Living Program (FYITLP) is hiring Transitional Living Specialists to support young adults in a structured residential program. What We Offer

• Time and half for holidays + shift differential for weekends and midnight shifts

Schedule

• Part time: 24 hours per week (works out to about 15 shifts in a month)
• Shifts: 12am-8am, 4pm-12am, and occasional 8am-4pm
• Weekend and Holiday rotation required
• Monthly availability due on the 15th; schedule posted by the 25th

Job Duties

• Mentor and guide young adults in daily living skills, self-care, and planning
• Support residents with schedules, transportation, and personal growth
• Help implement the TLP curriculum and guidelines
• Ensure safety and compliance with all health and fire regulations
• Facilitate life skills and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with community agencies to connect youth to resources

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass Criminal and Central Registry (child abuse/neglect) background checks
• Negative TB (Tuberculosis) test
• Three professional references

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
