Responsibilities
- Oversees the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident/patient care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards
- Assists in the preparation of the annual budget for the living center and monitors monthly performance, intervening as needed
- Schedules and performs rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care
- Maintains administrative authority and responsibility for proper charting, documentation of care, medications, and treatments
- Evaluates residents to determine and maintain the center’s ability to provide appropriate care
- Communicates regularly with the Medical Director to identify educational needs and ensure quality care
- Manages clinical aspects of state or federal survey processes

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current RN license in the assigned state (state-specific licensing not required if not acting as Director of Nursing Services)
- Minimum five (5) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Proven leadership and performance management skills
- Ability to travel within Indiana, including overnight and extended stays
- Regular attendance capability
