Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Transitional Care Unit in a Level I Trauma Center. You will provide direct patient care, assessments, care planning, and evaluations in accordance with nursing standards.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, high-quality care across the care continuum in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree required; bachelor's preferred.
• Active RN license.
• No prior experience required; 2 years of experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.
