Job Summary

Join our compassionate team as a Co-Occurring Disorder Counselor, making a meaningful impact on individuals facing substance use disorders. You will provide therapy, support, and help clients achieve recovery goals using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral approaches. Your work will support clients in both community and home settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy for clients in community/home settings.
  • Complete assessments and develop treatment plans adhering to guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and document services accurately.
  • Assist clients with transition processes and maintain professional relationships.
  • Facilitate counseling sessions and perform crisis interventions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional or Qualified Mental Health Professional.
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in human services or relevant certification.
  • Willingness to acquire additional credentials and provide telehealth services.
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
  • Successful background checks including criminal and fingerprint checks.
  • First Aid and CPR certification within three months of employment.
  • Behavioral Management training within 30 days of employment.
Physical Requirements

Sedentary work, involving sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
