Job summary

J. Kelly & Associates is seeking a Transition Specialist to be on the ground coordinating client asset transfers and onboarding new accounts. This full-time, non-exempt role requires in-person work and substantial travel to support financial advisors.

You will act as the primary coordinator, lead onboarding meetings, train clients on systems, ensure compliance, and build strong relationships with branch managers and advisors. Expect a fast-paced environment with long hours during peak periods.

• Facilitate daily in-person meetings with incoming recruit teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
• Open and establish new client accounts in accordance with firm procedures
• Manage and oversee the transfer of client assets between firms with accuracy and compliance
• Serve as the primary point of contact ("Quarterback") coordinating all transition-related activities across stakeholders
• Build and maintain productive relationships with branch managers, financial advisors, and all parties involved in the transition process
• Guide clients through required documentation, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Uphold regulatory and firm compliance standards throughout all phases of each transition
• Deliver training to new associates and clients on relevant platforms and internal systems

Position Overview: Transition Specialist (Full-Time, Hourly – Non-Exempt, Florida Resident)

You are the face of the transition. You’ll be on the ground opening new accounts, overseeing asset transfers, and training clients on new systems. You aren't just "support" you are the lead coordinator making sure the move for the financial advisor is seamless.
