Job summary

CALIBRE is seeking a Transition Assistance Program Site Lead to support the VA transition program at Fort Myer, VA. The role involves conducting standardized briefings, one-on-one engagements, and pre-separation counseling for transitioning service members.

You will oversee staffing, event management, and logistics, ensuring quality and risk management across activities. Travel may be included, and experience with adult learning theories and VA benefits is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years’ equivalent work/military experience.
• Understanding of VA benefits programs.
• Understanding of transitioning service member populations.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong customer management and support skills.

Responsibilities

• Staff operational deployment and logistics at the Fort Myer site.
• Conduct VA Benefits and Services briefings and one-on-one engagements.
• Coordinate pre-separation counseling and military life cycle events.
• Lead site-wide staff meetings and inform on new policies.
• Manage travel, coverage models, and field staff training.
• Perform risk, quality, and inventory management at the installation.
