Job summary

Aspiranet is seeking a Housing Specialist in Redlands to support Transition Age Youth by securing and maintaining safe housing placements. This role coordinates housing logistics, landlord relationships, financial tracking, and compliance to help participants pursue independence.

You will be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to turning housing stability into lasting community outcomes for young adults.

Qualifications

Associate degree or 2 years of relevant office experience involving financial transactions, petty cash, fund disbursement, and data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel required).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Identify, secure, and maintain safe housing options for program participants.
Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, property managers, and vendors.
Coordinate move-in/out processes, lease education, furnishing, utilities setup, and inspections.
Track vacancies and lease renewals to ensure timely occupancy.
Support rent payments, housing financial tracking, stipends, and cost-sharing processes.
Educate participants on apartment care and shared living expectations.
Coordinate maintenance requests and unit readiness.
Maintain documentation in compliance with HIPAA, licensing, and agency standards.
Stay current on tenant rights, ADA requirements, and housing regulations.
Participate in supervision, meetings, and trainings.
