Job summary

HNTB is seeking an intern in the Vehicle Engineering group based in Boston, MA. You will assist engineering teams, support research and design tasks, and help prepare drawings and documents under supervision.

The role offers exposure to Light Rail Vehicles, Heavy Rail, and other transit assets, with no relocation or housing provided. Must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program and have basic math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Familiarity with basic engineering concepts and math.
• Proficiency with MS Office; able to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams with tasks and duties.
• Support research, development, and design activities on projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.
