HNTB Corporation in Boston, MA seeks a Vehicles Intern Engineer for Summer 2027 to support our Vehicle Engineering group on transit and rail projects. You will learn about procurement, modifications and operation and maintenance of light rail vehicles, heavy rail vehicles, and next‑generation zero‑emission vehicles while contributing to real project work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Understands basic engineering, algebra and geometry concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to learn shop drawing and submittal procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
