Job summary

Via Transportation, Inc. in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee Breeze Plus operations, supervise drivers, train staff, and ensure exceptional rider service. This shift-based, in-person role requires 8–9 hour shifts with occasional evenings and weekends.

You may also serve as an Operator when needed, respond to incidents, conduct safety checks, and collaborate with a broad team to scale processes and tools for rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in transportation or similar field with supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills under pressure.
• Proficient with tablets and standard office software (Google Suite).
• Must be able to operate wheelchair accessible vehicles and assist passengers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct driver performance evaluations and coaching.
• Develop and deliver training for new and existing drivers.
• Handle customer service issues and promote rider satisfaction.
• Serve as real-time operations contact to address issues and implement solutions.
• Go to incident scenes to manage processes and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to scale operations and tools.
