PalAmerican Security is seeking a Transit Security Officer based in Bellevue, WA, for the 3rd shift. You will walk and stand for long periods, wear security gear, and engage with the public while maintaining a strong security presence.

The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and high-quality customer care for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of security or military experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and excellent verbal and written communication

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' Security or Military experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working with the public and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, baton, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit.
• Engage in high volume face-to-face public interactions.
• Write detailed and accurate reports on incidents.
• Maintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activity.
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors.
• Provide empathetic approach to managing escalated situations.
• Contribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer care.
