Job summary

PalAmerican Security is seeking an experienced Transit Security Officer to protect passengers and property in our urban transit environments. This role requires at least 2 years of security or military experience, a valid Washington State Security License, a clean driving record, and open availability.

You will develop skills in de-escalation, public interaction, and diligent reporting while enjoying comprehensive benefits and paid training in Renton.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age is required.
• Minimum of 2 years security or military experience.
• Valid WA state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proof of High School diploma, GED or higher education.
• Possess a valid Washington State Security License.

Responsibilities

• Walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit.
• Engage in high volume face-to-face public interactions.
• Write detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Maintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activity.
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors.
• Provide empathetic approach to managing escalated situations.
• Contribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer care.
