Job summary

PalAmerican Security is looking for experienced Transit Security Officers to protect communities in Washington. Candidates should have at least 2 years of security or military experience and meet state licensing requirements.

Successful applicants will participate in a 5-day paid training course in Renton and receive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Wear body armor, duty belt with handcuffs, radio, flashlight, and first aid kit.
• Engage in high-volume face-to-face public interactions.
• Write detailed and accurate incident reports.
• Maintain a physical presence as a deterrent to illegal activity.
• Ensure safety and security of site staff and visitors.
• Provide empathetic approach to managing escalated situations.
• Contribute to the overall experience by providing superior customer care.
