Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer to conduct armed and/or unarmed patrols, control access, monitor CCTV, and prepare reports. The role may involve irregular shifts with opportunity for more hours and is based in the United States, with pay at $25.86 per hour.

The position emphasizes customer service, incident reporting, and collaboration with site teams to deter misconduct and protect property.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• May include service in Military Police or security-related roles.
• Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy or related work experience in law enforcement, corrections, or firefighting.
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice recommended.
• 8+ years in any military branch acceptable.
• Associate degree (60 credits) in law enforcement/criminal justice plus active military service.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire as needed.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure compliant removals.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
