Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer to conduct armed and/or unarmed patrols, interior and exterior. You will monitor CCTV, control access, compose reports, and deter threats. Shifts may be irregular with little advance notice.

The role involves patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle, responding to emergencies, and providing courteous assistance to people on site. Must meet state licensing requirements where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have military/law enforcement background or related public safety training.
• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 8+ years of service in any military branch or related experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle, interior and exterior.
• Monitor for irregular conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department when needed.
• Control access and egress, monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare reports on incidents and maintain post logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications and follow site Post Orders.
• Recommend security improvements and post orders.
