Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• At least two years of security-related experience is desirable.
• CPR or other certifications are not specified as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and report unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and first responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
